The journey isn't about losing weight it's about getting my body into shape so I can chase my kids around. I figure that I will lose weight along the way, my starting weight is 146, I look forward to watching the scale go down.
Today I was excited to do my running. I woke up with the goal to run a mile and see if I can. I used the treadmill today because it is just to darn hot outside. I started out walking to warm up, then kicked it up to 3.8mph and I did it, I ran my 1st mile. I thought I would have a harder time but it really actually went good. I was so excited and proud of myself.
I had a little moment of stress when I first started, the kids were in bed, Jr was doing stuff in the garage and I had a moment of feeling guilty that I should be doing so many things besides running. I worked thru my guilt and was very happy to be running.
I felt so good all day after I finished, running gives me a boost of energy and joy.
